We invite you to join us for an introductory Bible study to explore the scriptural foundation for the tenets of the Catholic faith beginning Wednesday, January 17. We will meet each Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the old middle school (802 Byer’s Avenue) for 12-14 weeks. The sessions are led by Tricia and Rick Courtney.
Topics include
- What makes the Catholic Bible different, and why?
- Is the Catholic faith a ‘works based’ salvation?
- In what ways do Catholics see Mary the Mother of our Lord differently than other Christians and why?
- The Pope – is he infallible, and what does that mean?
- The Eucharist – how do Catholics believe differently than other Christians, and why?
